What will I learn?
When you begin your flight training at Spitfire Aviation, you have the opportunity to work with your own personal flight instructor. Your flight instructor will work with you on a one-on-one basis. You will learn about things such as the dynamic principles of flight, various aircraft procedures, communications, navigation, and the regulations of aviation. Your instructor will also demonstrate and actively explain all aspects concerning the operation of your aircraft, so you can progress to a standard of proficiency to earn the pilot certificate or rating you are pursuing.

Who can fly?
Woman or man, young or old - anyone who is willing to dedicate themselves to learning can fly. Annually, thousands of individuals earn their pilot’s license for pleasure, a career with the airlines, or business. The first goal of a student pilot is to earn a Private Pilot License.

There are many opportunities once one has earned his or her Private Pilot’s License. One is able to continue training and earn additional certificates such as Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor, Commercial Pilot, or Airline Transport Pilot. Many pilots fly simply for the sheer joy of it. As a Certified Private Pilot, you have the opportunity to rent airplanes at almost any airport.

Is it safe?

Safety is our number one concern at Spitfire Aviation. All of the aircraft at Spitfire are meticulously inspected by FAA certified aircraft technicians on a regular basis. During your entire flight training, our instructors will instill the knowledge of procedural flight safety.

How much does it cost?
There are numerous variables in how much the training will cost. Often, the more frequently you train, the faster the training will advance, and the lower the cost. A breakdown of costs can be found by clicking here.
